This is a Illustration that I created as a personal project for an article in the Condé Nast Traveler website, about the dificulty to escape the disruptive man-made noises and find quiet places when travelling. The focus of the article is to emphasize the impact of noise pollution, how silence has become an ultimate luxury, and how travelers can also play a role in preserving silence when visiting a quiet place.
